Meet the maker!

Hello.
Commission Work N Art Classes
I feel like an ever elated woman fallen in
crossed many hurdles on the arduous life for learning art, later on after long years, my paintings, my art became the elixir of my life.
My passion, dedication, commitment and interest enabled me and unflinching support of my husband encouraged me to learn Fine Art. Another driving force in my career and my life has been the constant, persistent and consistent and always very positive motivation by my sister, Prativa. My unshakeable desire for art compelled me to excel in my profession, to create my niche and to touch the zenith. At present, I coach many children and youth and actively participate in art shows, art exhibitions, plan for workshops and symposiums. In the remaining time, I engage myself in doing paintings of all mediums. Although I work in all mediums, watercolour is proved to be my favourite cup of tea.
Art gives me a harmonious blend of life, inspires me to be self contended and of course, offers all the necessary mental and moral strength to live and die for art. To me, art is simply my mode of expressing my emotions or my imagination on canvas. One thing about art is that I can transform my passion into reality.
During my childhood, I was very much attracted to the traditional rangoli drawn by my mother in our home on different occasions. It had a great impression on my mind at that time. In primary school my most-liked subject was also drawing. I had a great infatuation towards art from that time till completion of my 10th. In those days there was not much scope for us to join in professional coaching of art and which was also not available in a remote village of ours and to come to a town was not possible for us. My dreams stayed unfulfilled till the completion of my graduation. But I got a ray of hope and started dreaming for art in my post graduation in Utkal University
Bhubaneswar, where I stood first in art competition.
After my marriage I fulfilled my dream when I got a moral support from my husband and encouragement of my elder sister. From then till now, my journey in art has been amazing. I have done a Fine Arts Course. I have converted my childhood dream and passion into my profession.
I learned from my Guruji, Shri. Brajabandhu Jena, in Odisha for some days and then did a professional course under Guruji, Shri. Sunil Chawla. My sincere and heartfelt gratitude to my both gurus to whom I shall always be indebted. I am blessed to have got an opportunity to learn under their tutelage.
I do paintings in all medium. All my works are realistic rather than abstract. My favourite mediums are watercolours, charcoal, oil and acrylic. In my opinion, art should be a passion. You can convert your hobby into your profession when you cherish and yearn for that and get yourself involved in it. Art must not be one option out of many. It should be your first choice, dream and passion. Art is one such subject, where there is no syllabus and no ending. So you keep learning as long as you wish. One must develop the attitude of learning and focussing.
The satisfaction and contentment I experience, when I complete a painting as envisaged and my near and dear ones praise it, is unexplainable… that is my wealth!! In this small journey I have received many awards like MS Artist Award from Jaipur, Art Queen Award in Delhi. I have won gold and silver medals from. Bengal Art Forum. I had the wonderful opportunity to do an illustration for CCP Child Labour-free Jaipur Project. I like to keep myself busy in my teaching my students of all age groups. I am happy to share and impart the knowledge which I got from my gurus. My love, passion and dedication to art have brought me social and professional recognition which I had never dreamed of.
I would like to thank my family members for their support, encouragement and guidance. I seek the blessings of my elders, so that I may continue to march ahead and keep scaling new heights!!
